Kanako started her career as a hairstylist in 1998 in New York. After 13 years of working at five-star salons such as Warren Tricomi, working on numerous photoshoots and fashion shows, Kanako proudly opened her own hair salon, Kanako Salon in Lower East Side in 2011. Salon moved to a new destination in the Financial District on its 10-year anniversary in 2021. The new location allows her to provide a more private and comfortable space for all the clients. Any hair types, genders, and age groups are welcome!

CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand life happens and schedules change but your help by providing us at least 24-hour notice for an appointment cancellation will help us provide a seamless and efficient salon experience for our other clients. We do reserve the right to charge a fee of 50% of the scheduled service(s) for short-notice cancellations and appointment no-shows. Thank you for your understanding.

Kanako Salon adheres to strict government safety policies when it comes to COVID-19 because we truly care when it comes to safety. We take temperature logs and have installed extra sanitizing stations throughout the salon. We are trained on proper PPE and disinfecting the work areas and always use the proper sterilization method with all our tools and equipment.
